Is PRP Right for You?

PRP isn't magic, and it isn't for everyone — but for the right patient it can genuinely help. You may be a good candidate if:

You have early-to-moderate knee or shoulder osteoarthritis
You have a rotator cuff or tendon problem that won't settle
You want to avoid or delay joint surgery
Steroid injections no longer help for long
You've been told 'nothing more can be done' short of surgery
You'd prefer an option using your own body's healing

What PRP Can Help With

We assess whether PRP genuinely suits your joint — and use a quality preparation with accurate, ultrasound-guided delivery.

Knee Arthritis

PRP can reduce pain and improve function in suitable early-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis, especially combined with rehabilitation.

Shoulder & Rotator Cuff

For rotator cuff tendinopathy and partial tears, ultrasound-guided PRP supports healing and can help you avoid surgery.

Tendon & Ligament Injuries

Selected tendon and ligament problems that haven't responded to rest and physiotherapy may benefit from targeted PRP.

Your Questions, Answered

Does PRP really work?

For the right patient — suitable early-to-moderate arthritis or a tendon problem, with a quality preparation, accurate ultrasound-guided delivery and rehabilitation — PRP can meaningfully reduce pain and improve function. It works best as part of a complete plan.

Can PRP help my cartilage?

In early osteoarthritis, studies show PRP can help protect cartilage and slow its breakdown, and some report modest improvement — the benefit is greatest while there is still healthy cartilage. In end-stage, bone-on-bone knees it is used mainly for pain relief and can't rebuild the joint. PRP isn't a cure, and we'll always give you an honest, realistic picture.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and response, discussed after assessment. Some patients need a single course; others benefit from a repeat.

How soon can I be seen?

Same-day and evening appointments are often available, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Call or WhatsApp +91 8284838332, or book online.
